Collection: Renato Fratini

Renato Fratini was born in Civitavecchia in 1932 arriving in Britain in the late 1950's having been lured by Eric Pulford to work primarily to produce film poster artwork for Rank Films International. This was in response to the need for his Italian flair in producing a different type of Italian artwork to help market and promote the films in England and for the International market. From the 1950's up until 1972 he was the most important artist working in the film industry with possibly his most famous poster being "From Russia with Love". We are lucky on our film poster website to have over one hundred and thirty original film posters for sale painted by Renato Fratini.
