The Lion

Superb African landscape art by Putzu portraying William Holden superbly and again below in embrace with Capucine. The wonderful painting of the lion who was called "King" in the film befriends Holden's daughter Tina played by Pamela Franklin. Printed in Great Britain by the Haycock Press Ltd. The film poster has brilliant bright colours with pinholes in the corners and a closed tear at the top right corner encroaching into the word 'Capucine' repaired to the reverse with conservation tape.
