This 1949 Warner Brothers British quad film poster was printed in England by Stafford & Co. Ltd. of Netherfield, Nottingham & London. Dramatic forties artwork designed to catch the attention of the cinema goer. The Film Noir style artwork pictures an alluring painting of the sexy Patricia Wayne who was actually Patricia Cutts - an actress who was to star later in "The Tingler", and have a cameo in "North by Northwest". Tragically Patricia committed suicide in 1974 at only 48 years old. The tips of the corners have been replaced and restored. There are four small strips of tape on the front of the poster along the fold line by the letter 'y'. Very strong colours on this original Quad.
