This 1956 British quad film poster pictures Diana Dors cast as Mary Hilton in this X certificate film which makes a plea for the abolition of Capital punishment based on the case of Ruth Ellis the last woman in Britain to be hanged. Diana Dors gives arguably her life's best performance as the murderess recounting the circumstances that drove her to kill. A moving film poster with a provocative image for what was a black and white film. The film poster was printed by Leonard Ripley & co. Ltd. of London S.E.11. Folded as issued to the cinema with no pinholes just the tiniest less than matchstick head sized holes at the left and centre cross fold.
