Peter Sellers is painted as the funny cockney criminal mastermind "Pearly Gates" who uses a dress salon as the front for the illegal activities of his bungling gang members. Lionel Jeffries plays Inspector Parker who is equally inept. The film was filmed in black and white and also starred Michael Caine and Bernard Cribbins together with Nanette Newman.
