Women in Love

This is the 1969 original British quad for the D. H. Lawrence film "Women in Love" with printing by Leonard Ripley & Co. Ltd. The film poster features a quote from the Daily Express "...superb cinema, beautifully photographed and stunningly acted by the young cast." Directed by Ken Russell from the D. H. Lawrence novel this was always to be a film of notoriety. Please note there is fold wear as seen which can be seen quite clearly as whiter sections on the black poster. Film posters were supplied folded to the cinemas so for a 1969 film poster of this type this is to be expected and forms a part of the history of the poster.
