Where Eagles Dare

Very finely detailed landscape Japanese film poster with magnificent colour images of the key action scenes from this 1969 classic Second World War Film. Richard Burton is pictured as Major John Smith with Clint Eastwood in the role of Lt. Maurice Schaffer. The poster advertises the 70mm format in large print and also has the proud MGM lion logo. The reverse of this rolled film poster shows six more photos from the film of the German fortress, many action scenes from the film together with the staff and cast list in English and Japanese text. There is a 1 inch closed tear at the top left border which has a thin strip of clear conservation tape to the reverse, no pinholes. The colours are very deep.
