War Wagon

This is the 1967 original film poster for the Universal Pictures film "The War Wagon". The Italian artist Renato Fratini has painted two wonderful all-action cowboys John Wayne and Kirk Douglas fully armed and ready for action. The landscape format of the British quad lends itself really well to the Western genre and here we have the war wagon in all its glory heavily armed with guns blazing a trail across the American landscape. The war wagon itself was a great piece of kit and is pictured here complete with swivelling turret and machine gun. Brilliant colours on the film poster with a pinhole in each corner.
