Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea

This amazing poster artwork ranks among Chantrell's finest pieces his printed signature appears on the poster to the left of the cast. Gorgeous coloured action sequences with great use of perspective. Printed by "Stafford & Co., Ltd., Netherfield, Nottingham; and London" This particular film poster has a Maltese censor stamp on the 'M' of 'Bottom' in the title and was displayed in cinemas in Malta. This folded film poster has an area of paper infill in the right border near the 'E' in the word 'voyage' in the title. There are some paper snags in the top corners, borders and at the central cross fold which has been repaired with archival tape to the reverse. A small area of border at the top right corner has been replaced. Overall the film poster from 1961 displays well and has a vintage charm and interesting history plus great Chantrell art.
