John Wayne plays Rooster Cogburn and wins the Oscar for best actor. Glen Campbell's role as Texas Ranger was offered to Elvis Presley but Wayne was not one for second billing and maybe there were difficulties squaring the deal with the Colonel. This first release film poster from Paramount Pictures in 1969. The poster has a few small closed tears as seen at the foot and has a Dublin stamp to the reverse which does not show through to the front. A couple of pinholes in each corner.
