Treasure Island

This 1972 stone litho printed colour film poster for the film "Treasure Island" pictures Orson Welles in the role as Long John Silver. Also pictured is Jim Hawkins, assorted pirates and the pirate ship. It would be wrong not to mention that every pirate should have at least two muskets and a parrot on his shoulder with this one having the bonus of other pirates with knives, swords and even a skull and crossbones in the background. Printed by Robert Burton printers of Sydney. This one was acquired by us from a New Zealand cinema having and old sellotape mark at the top right, no pinholes and two horizontal folds.
