Town on Trial

This 1956 British quad film poster features a puzzle to be solved by John Mills (pictured in full colour at the top left) who stars as the Scotland Yard Detective employed to investigate unsavoury goings-on in an English town. This Agatha Christie type film reveals a woman with a dubious reputation who is found dead leaving Mills with many suspects to investigate, most of whom having dodgy pasts as he solves "The Murder Puzzle".
