Thunderball

This Italian locandina film poster features the painting by Italian artist Averardo Ciriello of Sean Connery complete with gun receiving a massage. This film poster artwork featured in the advance film posters too and paints Bond in a fun yet sensual appearance. The Italian translation is "Operation Thunderball" and this film poster hails from 1977. Interestingly the original artwork from the films first release in 1965 could not be improved upon for the cinema re-release in 1977 so it was reused as pictured here for the re-release and is available here fro a considerably more achievable price. Printed in Italy by Rotopress - Roma. There is a crease at the lower left corner.
