This Property Is Condemned

This original British quad 'X' certificate film poster from 1966 features a wonderful full colour portrait by British artist Tom Chantrell of film star Natalie Wood playing the daughter exploited by her landlady mother at the Starr boarding house they run (pictured). Also pictured is a fine bedroom portrait of Natalie Wood with Robert Redford together with the American steam train in the background which could provide the only escape. Directed by Sydney Pollack with screenplay by Francis Ford Coppola this is a powerful drama and the typography fits the bill perfectly.
