The Young Ones

Great 1960's full colour artwork with Cliff in typical pose. Tom Chantrell was responsible for the art for the Elvis Presley film "Love Me Tender" some five years prior to designing this film poster for "The Young Ones" and the similarities are there for all to see. This 1961 first release poster has the iconic images of The Shadows and a boisterous dance floor scene too. Robert Morley is pictured at the lower right as the millionaire father who won't splash the cash to save the youth club. Printed by Stafford & Co of Nethefield, Nottingham and London. Folded condition British quad as supplied to the cinema but with historic closed tear of 7 inches at the right border plus a little creasing there and some old sellotape marks as seen. Great colours with no fading.
