Director Carl Foreman's film was shot in 1963 in black & white deliberately to illustrate how war does nobody any good. 'The Victors' do not look like victors - that is the point as in war there are no winners. This 'X' certificate British Quad hails from the Ritz cinema and has tape marks in the borders and a little paper-loss at the bottom centre border as seen.
