Specially printed rolled condition British quad cinema poster from 1972 for the opening at the Plaza Hotel in America on May 17th 1972 of 'The Valley (Obscured by Clouds)'. Phillip Castle's mesmeric painting sets the scene for the mythical Valley representing the Garden of Eden where the Pink Floyd music heralds a new lifestyle.

The artwork captures perfectly the trance like atmospheric music as the hippies travel looking for an alternative lifestyle interacting with primitive tribes people. The printed signature of the artist, the late Philip Castle appears at the lower left by the bamboo frame.

Excellent rolled condition with no pinholes.
