The Thirty Nine Steps

Set in 1914, the third film of the novel by John Buchan. Directed by Don Sharp. Notice the train grabbing your attention at first gradually taking the shape of a gun with a finger on the trigger. This hints 'thriller'. This is the first release film poster from 1978 with great artwork portraying Robert Powell and Karen Dotrice together with the impressive Big Ben action scene. The film poster is in folded condition as issued to the cinema with printing by Lonsdale and Bartholomew of Nottingham and no pinholes.
