Following their success in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" Paul Newman and Robert Redford return with the same Director George Roy Hill to play two con men set in the 1930's. Hugely successful and winning 7 Oscars including 'Best Picture'. This film was a triumph and here we have the pair with money to burn. Having won 'Best Picture' in 1973 "The Sting" was still a force to be reckoned with in 1977 which is the date of this cinema re-release film poster litho printed in the U.S.A. with no pinholes.
