Akira Kurosawa's "Seven Samurai" became "The Magnificent Seven" and the Japanese maestro's earlier classic "Rashomon" - the story of a rape and a murder told by four people with a different perspective became "The Outrage". Transposed to the wild west this 1964 black and white film had Paul Newman playing the killer, Claire Bloom and Laurence Harvey as the victims with Edward G. Robinson the con man. This 1964 first release original film poster is a rare item and features powerful artwork by the artist Kossin whose name appears printed on the poster. The poster has the X certificate felted out together with old sellotape marks, a little paperloss at the top right border and various holes as seen.
