Original 1957 first release British quad film poster from Rank films and printed by Charles & Read of London and Harlow. Pictured is Hardy Kruger in the true life story of Franz von Werra the luftwaffe pilot who escaped from several Prisoner of War camps in England. The full colour artwork depicts the determination as the pilot crawls under the barbwire attempting to rejoin the fight. The film was made in black and white but cinema goers could enjoy a full colour film poster to tempt them into the cinema. Excellent colours and in folded condition with pinholes in the borders as seen.
