The Mountain

First release British quad film poster from 1956 for the Paramount Pictures Vista Vision motion picture film poster "The Mountain". Featured in the mountain range of the French Alps is Mont Blanc - the unfortunate sight of a plane crash which is then cruelly exploited by the pictured Spencer Tracy and Robert Wagner. At the foot of the mountain range lies the printed signature of the artist "Wiggins". Bill Wiggins was a talented artist who worked with the Downton agency and with Eric Pulford. Wiggins was well known for many artworks including "The Day of the Triffids" in 1962. The film poster is printed by the Haycock Press of London with vivid colours, paper-loss which has been re-instated with a white paper section at the left side border, The top left cross fold join has a whole about the size of two matchstick heads and another similar one at the intersection below it with smaller pin head size holes at two of the other cross folds.
