The Majestic

Set in 1950's America Jim Carrey is a black listed Hollywood screenwriter who while drunk and really sad drives his car off a bridge and then suffers from amnesia. Martin Landau has lost his missing soldier son and Carrey has a remarkable resemblance and is mistaken for the son. Martin Landau is the owner of the town's Majestic cinema and Jim Carrey helps the town in reviving the cinema. Great pictures of cars and fashions of the day in this feel good movie from a classy director Frank Darabont.
