The Magnificent Showman aka Circus World

The British quad from 1964 with printing by the Haycock Press of London S.E.5. John Wayne is painted centrally flanked by Rita Hayworth and Claudia Cardinale who play mother and daughter. Without John Wayne this film would not have been made as there were financial problems. Wayne participates in the wild west acts and can be seen shooting from atop a stagecoach and attacking Indians and leaping on and off of horses. This original British Quad is in rolled condition having never been folded. There are remnants of dried glue paste on the reverse indicating the method of display at the cinema in 1964. The colours are very bright on this film poster and its great to see happy painted portraits of these stars.
