The Last Emperor

The winner of nine Academy Awards as proclaimed by the sticker on this original British quad film poster from 1987. Based on a true story this was the first Western production to be allowed to film inside Beijing's Forbidden City. Costume design by James Acheson. The red and yellow on the film poster is a fitting tribute to the uniforms of Chairman Mao's Republic and this is a great look at important events in China.

Folded condition as issued to the cinema with no pinholes for the first release British quad before the film was nominated for its film awards.
