The play by Frank Marcus tells the story of the ageing actress who is sacked, with her character killed off from the TV serial. She takes to alcohol for comfort and her friend (Susannah York is taken from her too) This was the film showing on the closure night of 29th November 1969 at the Gaiety Picture House, Coleshill Street, Birmingham. The cinema had a capacity of 1487 with admission at sixpence and one and threepence. Clever logo in the top right in which the woman's hair forms a female body. Printed by W. E. Berry ltd of Bradford. This folded film poster has deep colours with no fading with three small historic sellotape marks in the borders with the one on the left having had a small square of tippex put over it.
