The Kids Are Alright

First release film poster from 1978 with the Who draped in the Union Jack and seeming to take a well earned nap (lol) This film was made in the same year that the group lost Keith Moon in September. Anyone privileged to see the Who live will appreciate how vibrant and charismatic Keith Moon could be on stage. I'll never forget the prisoners banging their metal plates on the window bars at Swansea prison as the Who played the VetchField concert - or for that matter the Charlton F.C. all dayer - Saturday night on Euston Station floor and well worth the trip. Great group, great memories and my sincere thanks and best wishes to Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey (with equally fond memories of the Ox!!)
