The Ipcress File

Super 1965 U.S. Insert film poster for "The Ipcress File". Harry Saltzman co-produced the film a year after his success with Goldfinger and introduces here an unknown British actor Michael Caine to rival the James Bond hero of his earlier film. The film poster pictures Michael Caine as Harry Palmer of the British Secret Service with a story uncovering K.G.B. operatives. The full colour artwork pictures the London street scenes together with policemen and double-decker bus and gives an intriguing insight into the spy thriller. Great reviews rubber stamp this one as one of the best. Folded film poster with small paper infill at the top right and bottom left corner tips and a closed tear of 1 1/2 inch at the right edge top border fold line which we have repaired with archival tape to the reverse.
