The Idol

British artist Tom Chantrell paints many scenes from the 1966 film "The Idol" for which this is the first release 'X' certificate film poster. Printed in England by Stafford & Co. of Nottingham and London this Warner Pathe film poster has very deep colours together with the printed signature of the artist at top centre. The film faired well at the pictures and even included music by John Dankworth. The film poster has a matchstick head sized hole in the mid right corner fold, with a smaller one in the centre fold line. Title written on reverse that does;t show through.
