Filmed in Jamaica this cult 'X' certificate film really put reggae music on the map and was based largely on the life of Jimmy Cliff who became a massive star and sings "Many rivers to cross" and "You can get it if you really want". Brilliant hard-hitting colours depict the exotic and shanty town of Kingston. The film featured many local personalities speaking in Patwa. Incredible soundtrack includes "Shanty Town" by Desmond Dekker and "Pressure Drop" by Toots & the Maytals. Wonderful painting of Jamaican life with the late great Jimmy Cliff pictured at the right of the poster holding the mic and just above the advert for some great music including The Melodians. Excellent rolled condition film poster with no pinholes and very bright colours.
