The Great Escape

Original first release 1963 U.S. lobby card for John Sturge's "Great Escape". Card number 2 picturing Charles Bronson with pick axe in the role of Danny Velinski the "tunnel King" and Richard Attenborough as Bartlett "Big X". Charles Bronson is pictured in the formation of the  successful escape tunnel which was hidden under the stove with the Nazi prison officers unable to locate the tunnel. This fantastic 1963 first release cinema front of house lobby card has great colours and includes the classic escape scene together with the film logo. The card has historic blue printing ink flaw and a repaired top corner infill at the left and right top corners. A great survivor and wholly original.
