The Great Escape

Interesting United Artists double-sided campaign sheet from 1963 for the war film "The Great Escape". Pictured at the top right is the famous British quad film poster together with the advertised price at the time for the cinema of 3 shillings and 6 pence. Interestingly, the front of house lobby card stills set of eight were priced at 8 shillings. The campaign sheet includes a detailed synopsis together with a full cast list and credit list together with details of the British operation and area offices for the United Artists Corporation Ltd. The reverse of the campaign sheet features pictures of the different sizes and prices of the advertising blocks for use in newspapers and other publications. A central horizontal fold with no pinholes just a slight nick at the right border.
