The Graduate / Play Dirty

Dustin Hoffman is the innocent college graduate seduced by the older married woman Anne Bancroft and then falling for her daughter Katharine Ross. The songs Mrs Robinson from Simon & Garfunkel was a big hit as was the film winning a Best Director Oscar for Mike Nichols. This film was still going string two years later at the cinema and is here featured in a 1969 United Artists AA double-bill with the Michael Caine film "Play Dirty". Despite Michael Caine's popularity it is the Graduate that takes top-billing. Printed by Lonsdale & Bartholomew.
