The Godfather

This rare original UK Quad for Francis Ford Coppola's "The Godfather" hails from the first release in 1972 and comes in folded condition as supplied to the cinema. Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew. The striking central image of Marlon Brando draws the eye with the title typography having become iconic. This first release British quad film poster does have marks which can be seen on the white sections of the poster. There is a pinhole in each corner. This is always a poster which is difficult to find in perfect condition because of the large amount of white however the eye should be drawn to the image at the centre and not to the white areas.
