This is the 1998 rolled condition film poster for the film "The General" critically acclaimed with Brendan Gleeson giving a superb performance as Martin Cahill, the man known as "Dublin's favourite gangster". The biopic looks back at his childhood and the events leading up to his murder in 1994 showing him to be a ruthless criminal who despite this courted popular acclaim whilst living on a grim Dublin estate with his beloved wife (Maria Doyle Kennedy) and her sister Angeline played by Angeline Ball with whom he had an affair. Jon Voight plays the police inspector with great direction by John Boorman. The film poster has no pinholes.
