Super surviving film poster and trade advertisement from the Summer of 1937 for the hard hitting crime film "The Frame-Up". The story involves gangsters betting heavily on a horse in a horse race getting fantastic odds because the animal 'Red Rodgers' doesn't have a chance. The horse in Red Rodgers stall won't however be that animal at all - it will be a 'Ringer' and sure to win. The gangsters kidnap a pretty secretary to assure their plan of success but as the poster shows, the law prevails in the end. A great full colour film poster with a hard-hitting image complete with a double-sided Columbia Pictures theatrical advertising leaflet showing different publications including the London Trade Show of July the 9th 1937 and reviews from publications including Kinematograph Weekly and three others and two scenes from the film.

Folded as issued to the cinema and purchased by us from an Irish cinema.
