The Fiercest Heart

The printed signature of British artist Chantrell appears at the lower right of this rolled condition 1961 20th Century Fox CinemaScope film poster "The Fiercest Heart". Chantrell paints as the central scene the wagon train encirclement which is under attack from the South African warriors. Painted at the lower left is Stuart Whitman in an embrace with Juliet Prowse. The title perspective pays tribute to the early CinemaScope logo which was all the rage in 1961. Magnificent colours and folded condition with a matchstick head size hole at the left and right centre fold printed by Stafford & Co of Netherfield, Nottingham and London.
