John Boorman directs. The clever poster design is by Vic Fair and warrants detailed viewing. As with nearly all film posters it is not correct to attribute to a single artist as scores of people provide input ranging from the creation of the original film, the provision to the agency of pre-production sketches to guide the artists, photographs from the film set and advice on improvements to concept art from company executives and fellow agency staff. It is always a team effort. This folded film poster does have four small areas of paper lift at the lower left of the poster following rough removal of a cinema snipe, plus a repaired 1 inch tear at the top left corner.
