Terrific first release British quad film poster from 1959 for "The Diary of Anne Frank" with brilliant artwork from the British artist Tom Chantrell. The film is a moving account based on the true story about a Jewish girl forced to hide from the Nazi's in occupied Amsterdam. Millie Perkins is painted in the role of Anne Frank and she was awarded best supporting Oscar with an Academy Award also awarded for the camera work and Art Direction. The film poster pictures great scenes from the film together with newspaper reviews.

This colour CinemaScope film poster was actually for a film made in CinemaScope black and white but this was common at the time and cinema goers would not have expected a colour film. Great film poster.

The film poster features the printed signature of the artist. Folded condition film poster with a few closed tears at the border edges on the bottom and right hand side and we have applied small strips of conservation tape including at the centre fold cross folds.
