This is the first release 1957 full colour stone litho printed film poster for the black and white film "The Deadly Mantis". The giant praying Mantis is awoken from its artic slumber by nuclear testing and it loses no time to lay waste to the tourist attractions in New York and Washington DC. Superb colours picturing the deadly mantis in action as the US army and Air force deploy tanks and airplanes to combat the deadly force. This Australian daybill film poster was printed by F. Cunninghame of Sydney and is in superb folded condition with no pinholes having been purchased by us directly from a cinema in New Zealand.
