The Color of Money

Superb linen backed film poster from 1986 "The Color of Money". Paul Newman is pictured as 'fast' Eddie Felson the pool shark he played in 1961's "The Hustler" winning Best Actor Oscar. Fifteen years later Felson takes on Tom Cruise as Vincent with great direction by Martin Scorsese. Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio is pictured as Carmen. The artist Robert Tanenbaum has painted the Paul Newman as the largest portrait relating to his relative star power compared to Cruise and Mastrantonio. Newman's name also appears at the top of the poster and is much bigger than the film title itself.
