The Cincinnati Kid

This is a really classy British quad and is not an easy one to find with wonderful quality printing by W.E. Berry Ltd. Bradford. The colours are truly stunning on the poker card playing scene with Steve McQueen in excellent form playing the Cincinnati Kid. Edward G. Robinson is pictured to the left of Steve McQueen as his adversary while Ann-Margret and Tuesday Weld are pictured to the right. This poster has a strong composition which is well suited to the subject matter perfectly illustrated in the artists portrait of the poker-faced Steve McQueen. This first release original British Quad cinema poster is in excellent folded unrestored condition, this is the best condition example we have seen on this title but it does have a staple mark in each corner and two additional pinholes at the left and right 3 inches from the top and side border. There is a tiny area of historic water stain on the bottom right corner not visible from the front. There is a 1 1/4 inch closed tear at the centre left border which we have repaired with a small strip of acid free tape. We have gone into great detail on the condition as this is an expensive poster and a rare one to find in unrestored condition. When displayed you can hardly see any of the mentioned faults.
