The Captain's Table

This Rank organisation 1958 British film poster for "The Captain's Table" was printed in England by W. E. Berry of Bradford. John Gregson is pictured as Captain Ebbs who finds himself in charge of a luxury liner rather than the usual cargo ships. The bevvy of beauties including Peggy Cummins and Nadia Gray and we can see here that this film poster has been subjected to Irish censorship as pink poster paint has been used to turn one of the bikinis into a one piece swimsuit! How the other one survived we don not know. The film poster has many areas of conservation tape to the reverse, a small amount of historic water damage to the right hand side and a corner tip replacements at the bottom right and left corners.
