The Brain Machine

This original film poster for "The Brain Machine" dates from 1956 and comes from a cinema in Washington DC. Atmospheric colours give this science fiction crime thriller a real presence. Elizabeth Allan as Dr. Phillipa Roberts has a WWII insignia on the lapel of her green overcoat and is menaced by the armed psychopath who cleverly has a reddish tint to the eyes which add to his menace. These 3 sheets are a misnomer as they are actually comprised of physically 2 sheets but are never the less very large and impressive. This one has survived with fantastic intensity of colour but does have fold wear splitting along the fold line around the middle of the green coat to the right of the lower 2 buttons as seen.
