The Boy Friend (1971) – Original Italian Jumbo Deluxe Still – Twiggy

An unusual original Italian-printed Jumbo Deluxe Still for Ken Russell's lavish 1971 musical The Boy Friend, starring Twiggy and Christopher Gable.

This colourful large-format photographic cinema display features Twiggy and Gable dancing together on a giant vinyl record as it spins upon a very modern looking record player in Russell's celebrated musical.

Printed in Rome by Rotolitografica, the poster features a Spanish-language title panel advertising the film as El Novio, with the wording “En versión original con subtítulos en español”.

Measuring an impressive 27 × 39 inches, this attractive international cinema display is a distinctive piece of Twiggy memorabilia and 1970s film advertising.

Rolled condition with some creasing to the right and edge wear at the bottom left as seen.
