Six fantastic stills taken on the set in 1950 and picturing some of the film crew and actors in the Henry Hathaway directed 20th Century Fox romantic adventure. Orson Welles and co are pictured with heavy oriental makeup as he plays a Mongolian warlord. These great rare photographs show some of the props and helmets used in the film together with caravans and transport that the actors used while onlookers can be seen taking their own photographs and observing the scene.
