The Birds

8-page Universal Pictures showman's manual for the Alfred Hitchcock film "The Birds". This one dates from the first release in 1963 and contains many interesting articles and photographs including Alfred Hitchcock himself with some of the trained birds. Various competitions are featured together with cartoon contests featuring caricatures of Mr Hitchcock and teaser campaign photos also including the director. There is a small blue biro date at the top of the first page and the rear page which features advertisement blocks for the film has a 2 inch D/C advertisement removed as seen for advertising purposes in the press.
