Superb, classy, romantic comedy film poster from 1960 for the superb film "The Apartment" directed by Billy Wilder. Jack Lemmon is pictured as the insurance clerk who offers his apartment to his superiors in order for them to indulge in extra marital affairs. He does this in return for promotions that never come and in doing so earns our sympathy and in turn salvation through Shirley MacLaine the elevator girl. The film was shot in black and white with this lovely film poster picturing the stars in full colour. Printed by J. Lichtert & Fils - Bruxelles.
