The 7th Voyage of Sinbad

This is the first Sinbad film poster and it dates from 1958 painted in full colour are Kerwin Matthews as Captain Sinbad together with Kathryn Grant Princess Parisa at the wheel of the ship which is painted in full also. The wonderful creations of Ray Harryhausen were the monsters which he brought to life in order to guard the magic lamp that is Sinbad's quest. Full credit is given to Ray Harryhausen in the large "Newest Movie-Making Miracle... Dynamation" and this was truly breathtaking at the time. Painted on the British Quad are The Cyclops, The two-headed bird, and the warrior skeleton. This fine old British Quad film poster is a feast of family excitement and adventure having been brought back from Malta by us and sent to Studio C in California for linen backing. It is now ready for framing and a Maltese censor stamp can be seen just above the Palace.
