The American problem - random killing sprees by individual nutcases. This film made in 1968 is based on the real life killing spree of Charles Whitman in 1966. The film poster from that year advertises the brilliant feature debit of the film critic turned writer and director Peter Bogdanovich and stars the amazing Boris Karloff as an ageing horror star who finds himself the target of a gunman in America - even back then - the terrible reality of the random sniper. Great that we have this Robert Burton printed film poster to remind us of the problems we still have yet to solve. Horizontal folds and a corner tip missing at the bottom right plus a show date felted at the bottom.
